What we do

It’s all a question of balance

Your whole body works better when it is in good structural balance — we treat the painful area and the parts that may have caused it.

Conditions we commonly help with

Most people think of us as back specialists — osteopathy can also support a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns.

  • General, acute & chronic backache and back pain
  • Uncomplicated mechanical neck pain
  • Headache arising from the neck (cervicogenic) / migraine prevention
  • Frozen shoulder, shoulder and elbow pain, tennis elbow
  • Joint pains including hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis
  • Sciatica, muscle spasms, neuralgia, fibromyalgia
  • Inability to relax and rheumatic pain
  • Minor sports injuries and tensions

How we work

Assessment before treatment

We take a full medical history — listening carefully and asking about diet, exercise, and daily life for clues that inform diagnosis.

We look at posture and movement, may check reflexes or blood pressure, and can refer for clinical tests such as X-rays when needed.

Treatment may include soft-tissue massage, cranial techniques, and joint mobilisation — always tailored to your age, fitness, and diagnosis.

Aftercare that lasts

We may suggest exercises, workstation tips, or driving posture advice — practical steps so improvements stick between visits.
